Until Friday, April 29, you can see the unique exhibition "STOP WAR" as part of the Project Art Gallery at VIVO! Lublin. These are the works of a dozen or so artists who decided to manifest their opposition to the war in Ukraine through their paintings. The exhibition will be crowned with an auction of the exhibited works, and the proceeds from their sale will be used to help Ukraine.
Recent events have radically changed the way we look at the world and security. Since then, people have expressed solidarity with their neighbors from beyond the eastern border, offering all kinds of help - accommodation, collecting basic necessities or finding a job.
Artists associated in the Kazimierz Confraternity of Art and others who care about the fate of Ukraine also express their support and opposition to the war, using pictures. Swirling thoughts, fear and compassion poured onto canvases can be seen at the exhibition as part of the Project Art Gallery at VIVO! Lublin only until April 29.
- The exhibition was created out of a great need of the heart in the hope of moving even more human hearts and leaving a permanent trace of our opposition in the form of artistic creativity - emphasizes Roman Gruszecki, President of the Kazimierz Confraternity of Art.
In addition to seeing the poignant works, it is also worth taking part in the auction scheduled for the end of the exhibition. The income from the sold paintings will be donated to Ukraine.
The exhibition is open until April 29 and is located in the Project Art Gallery, located on level +1 next to the Leopark Entertainment Center. Admission is free.
