Photography Exhibition “Light from Bóbrka” at VIVO!

From the beginning of February, visitors can enjoy the photography exhibition “Light from Bóbrka”, created in cooperation with the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Oil and Gas Industry Museum in Bóbrka and the Postsecondary School of Cultural Animation in Krosno. The exhibition will be open to visitors until February 28, 2026.

The presented photographs offer a contemporary perspective on one of the world’s oldest oil extraction sites. The authors focus on the relationship between industrial heritage and the natural landscape, showing how technical structures coexist harmoniously with the surrounding nature.

The images draw attention to construction details and traces of many years of human activity, juxtaposed with organic forms of nature. The interplay of light, textures, and structures allows viewers to discover both the historical character of the site and its aesthetic qualities. The exhibition is an artistic interpretation of the oil landscape – from monumental industrial equipment to subtle changes in scenery shaped by the rhythm of the seasons.

The display presents a variety of photographic narratives that invite reflection on history, memory, and the significance of this unique cultural area. Visitors can see, among others, details of historic mechanisms, contrasts of light and shadow on heritage structures, and the remarkable fusion of industry with the forest environment.

We invite you to visit our shopping center and see this exceptional exhibition, located at the main entrance next to BIG Star.
