Cărtureşti is a concept shop that functions as a library and as a cultural agent that is actively involved in the revitalisation of artistic life in Romania and social responsibility campaigns. Since the opening of the first bookshop at the and of 2000, Cărtureşti has proposed to change the book market trend that was declining at the time, to promote quality and value, putting customer needs first. Our approach to the market has always been indirect and non-aggressive, using innovative strategies and playful forms of promotion. The main achievement is that it has managed to impose a new way of selling books. Visiting any of the Cărturești bookshops becomes an experience in itself.
