THE STORY OF PITBULL WEST COAST.

PIT BULL Company was established in 1989 in Frankfurt-am-Main by Volker G. Albishausen.
After travelling to Los Angeles, inspired by, totally different than European, clubs, music and clothing shops Volker decided to establish his own brand referring to those from Los Angeles.
He opened the first retail shop with his associate in the center of Frankfurt. Volker's dog named SPIKE was inspiration for the brand's name, even his image was often used on clothes.
The company has been operating for 19 months, in 1992 Volker emigrated to San Diego, South Carolina and former partners drifted apart.
