The roof of our facility began to pulsate with additional energy. All thanks to 200 thousand. bees that live in the Pasieka, consisting of 4 hives.

These useful insects are looked after by the company Pszczelarium, which specializes in urban beekeeping.

Despite the enormous technological development, so far it has not been possible to figure out how to automate the process of pollination of plants. Bees contribute to 1/3 of the food consumed by mankind. It is thanks to them that apple trees, cherries, potatoes and even nuts. Unfortunately, every year they die en masse around the world. This is a side effect of the use of pesticides that protect crops from pests and poison the nectar at the same time. In order to save these beneficial insects, honey bee farms are established where they are provided with conditions for survival. The fashion for urban apiaries has been going on for several years. Beehives have become a permanent feature of many European cities, such as Paris and London. They stand on the roofs of universities, hotels, office buildings and concert halls. We are pleased to announce that also on our roof, in 4 streets, 200 thousand people lived insects.

Recently, the hard-working bees from VIVO! Apiaries collected honeydew nectar, nectar from spring flowers, as well as from action and linden. Thanks to this, during the first honey picking we collected as much as 50 kg of nectar-honeydew honey! We will give you jars with a golden delicacy in competitions and during ecological events. Interestingly, honey from urban apiaries has the same nutritional value as those from hives located outside the cities.

Apiary on the roof of VIVO! gave the bees a new home while protecting them from many threats. These useful insects bring harmony between nature and urban architecture. They guarantee biodiversity, the proper functioning of the environment, as well as delicious honey!
