On November 15, children and parents are invited to explore engineering, mobility, and creativity together through four activity zones designed for the whole family. An experience where technology isn’t just something to look at – you can drive it, control it, and customize it.

The event brings together engineering projects, remote-controlled car races, miniature construction vehicles, and creative activities featuring 3D-printed objects.

What can you discover at FUTURE PLAYGROUND?

Discover two solar-powered vehicles and an electric racing single-seater designed by students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. Students from the ART TU Formula Student team will share insights into the design and construction stages of an electric racing car and answer visitors’ questions.

Get behind the wheel of a remote-controlled car and steer it using a steering wheel and pedals. After a practice lap, a specially designed track awaits, where you can put your driving skills to the test.

Take control of remote-controlled excavators, bulldozers, and trucks in a sand-filled arena. With the help of a supervisor, you’ll take on digging, loading, and material transportation missions.

Choose a 3D-printed miniature and customize it with paints. In the demonstration area, you’ll get to see how an object takes shape, layer by layer, and at the end, you can take your creation home!
