Exhibition of the History of Information Technology at VIVO! Bratislava from June 1, 2023. The exhibition (opposite of Alpine Pro) includes historical computing technology that laid the foundation for today's computers. SMEP, a non-profit organization, presents key moments in the development and production of computing technology in Slovakia, with a focus on the years 1976-1977 when the system of small electronic computers was created. 

The goal is to bring technological progress closer to the public, inspire young computer science students, and collect and showcase computers and electronics, especially those developed and manufactured in Slovakia, allowing people to familiarize themselves with this technology, which can inspire, educate, and entertain many. The exhibition also features a slide rule, mechanical calculator, and various generations of computers including SP 830, IBM 5150, and PP 06.


Additionally, with the help of the Scientific Toy non-profit organization, there is an interactive exhibit called "The Pendulum - Scientific Toy" that illustrates the principles of physics and technical phenomena through scientific toys.

You can also look forward to the traveling exhibition Wireless World, which is dedicated to a significant Slovak personality - Jozef Murgaš. The exposition presents his research and discoveries in the field of radiotelegraphy and wireless communication. The exhibition "Jozef Murgaš - the Wireless World" will be located in the VIVO! Shopping Mall from June 1, 2023, to July 30, 2023
