PENTI

The story of our brand started in 1950, when the brothers Mois and Yasef Kariyo founded two separately.
In the year 1970, our brand took the name of ""Ogretmen Corap"" (n.t. teacher socks) and overthe course of a year in the Bayrampașa district of Istanbul our first factory was set up. 
In the year 1980, a famous representative of the two family generations, Sami Kariyo, became the ""captain"" of the brand. Our brand focuses on the needs of women in the city and wider production in terms of choice, designs, styles and quality. Thus, on the one hand we consolidated our place on the market and on the other hand in 1984 we reached the last stage of the marketing process when we took the name of Penti.
- In 1991, the Lycra material for the production of women's stockings was first used and we revolutionised the market with ""Fit15"" underwear. In the years that followed we continued to develop and activate the production sector and to retail by adding the range of products for women's socks, socks for children, underwear, bikinis, swimwear, beachwear. In 1994, the Ogretmen Sock Factory was established in Corlu. The factory was equipped with modern technology. Regarding this production, international standards are performed, in the annual presentation of 86 million pairs of socks.
