Spartan specialities are inspired by Greek cuisine, but the preparation method is different, and the wide range of ingredients leads to a unique combination of tastes. For example, the Spartan souvlaki does not include the traditional skewers. Instead, this delicacy is served on the plate with rotisserie meat, French fries, red onion, salad and pickled cucumbers. Cold sauces, such as olive, garlic, sweet-sour, tomato, and tzatziki topping, are the ideal choice for this preparation. Unlike the classic pita, the Spartan chefs use the pita bread and the pastry, two lightly crisp assortments that are used in the classic gyros, cheese gyro and Leonidas pita. Also, Spartan meat is one of the key elements, as it is not limited to chicken alone. More specifically, Spartan specialities may also contain beef, goat and pork. In addition, this meat is very delicious because it is grated in yogurt before being left on the steak. Thus, it acquires a soft texture which makes it easier to be permeated by the other ingredients. The stew is made of onion, carrot, kapia pepper, honey and garlic. In addition, all Spartan specialties can be combined with any of the five Spartan sauces to satisfy the tastes of all customers, even the big supporters of fast sauces. Furthermore, gyros cheese, fresh salad and Persia platter can also be served with feta cheese, as you prefer.
